SmartPay® Anywhere: Generally Available with Even More Features

Sell Fixed Price Packages on the Go!

Turn your event staff into mobile cashiers. With SmartPay® Anywhere, your favorite device quickly becomes a Point of Sale (POS) tool allowing you to sell Fixed Price Items on the go, in addition to allowing guests to purchase Fixed Price Items via OneCause Giving Center or Mobile Bidding.

This functionality offers:

  • The sale of Fixed Price Items outside of Mobile Bidding events! This means it’s available to all OneCause customers with a Fundraising Software subscription, whether or not the Items are included in a mobile auction.
  • The sale of “expired” Fixed Price Items, which cannot be purchased directly through the mobile auction, allowing organizations more control of sales.

Fixed Price Items create friendly competition and countless revenue-boosting opportunities. Use SmartPay® Anywhere to add a layer of convenience for your guests, improve their overall event experience and raise your bottom line.

Mark Items as “Picked Up” at Checkout

Use SmartPay® Anywhere to identify which auction items have been collected by their winner as well as the redemption of Fixed Price Item purchases throughout an event.

Checkout volunteers can use SmartPay® Anywhere on laptops, tablets, or mobile phones to quickly verify or enter payment and gather each guest’s purchased items. Track which packages have been picked up by the appropriate donor throughout the event by marking Silent, Live and Fixed Price Items as “picked up”. If a guest makes multiple purchases of a single Fixed Price Item, you can view purchase times and individually track which transactions have been collected.

Additionally, staff and volunteers are able to monitor Checkout progress via SmartPay® Anywhere at any time throughout your event by easily accessing data such as Bidders with Outstanding Balances and the Total Balance Due.

Smarter, Lighter Full Service Mobile Bidding Kits

Our Full Service Mobile Bidding event equipment kits received a major makeover including swapping out laptops with iPads. This change is a part of OneCause’s ongoing commitment to reinvest in our software and hardware to make sure we are our offering our clients the best possible experience.

The new Full Service Mobile Bidding equipment kits paired with SmartPay® Anywhere:

  • Allow registration staff to go mobile and eliminate any lines that may form
  • Help create a clean, professional look at the Registration desk
  • Provide a modern, intuitive software interface to make Registration easier and faster for your volunteers

Reporting Updates

New to the Event Health Check Report!

We’ve expanded the reach of the Event Health Check Report to continue to provide fundraisers with maximum visibility into their auctions/events. The Health Check ensures your event is set up correctly. It identifies things like missing data and potential duplicates, empowering fundraisers to verify settings well before guests arrive (with plenty of time to make edits if needed).

Our product team has added the following data point to this robust report:

  1. Ticket Summary. Highlights the numbers of Tickets Sold, Tickets Unassigned and Attendees Without Tickets.
  2. Table Summary. Highlights the numbers of Seated Attendees, Unseated Attendees, Undersold Tables and Oversold Tables. The Event Health Check Report will hide the Unseated Attendees, Table List and Table Summary sections if there are no tables saved in myOneCause Planner.

Packing Slip & Item Pickup Assistant

A new filter within both the Packing Slip and Item Pickup Assistant reports (found under Reports > Receipts) allows you to display a list of auction packages by auction mode—either All Auction Modes (default), Silent Auction Only, Live Auction Only or Silent & Live Auction Only—which streamlines Checkout and Item Pickup to create a smoother experience for all.

New Picked Up Status Report

Similarly, a new Picked Up Status report, available in myOneCause Planner and within the Reports > Receipts folder, enhances post-event/campaign visibility. You can filter by All Packages or Only Packages that are Picked Up/NOT Picked Up, and sort by Package #, Package Name, Bidder #, Purchaser Name or Time Picked Up.
